To think that was an insurrection is laughable.  What were they going to do?  Take over the US by trespassing on US Whitehouse property?  Seriously?

But it was a simple protest. This was not the first protest conducted at the Capitol. And this was not the first time a branch of government has had its building seiged as SCOTUS was attacked by the liberal left several years ago. Nobody thought much of it then because of course it wasn't good for political fodder, which as far as I'm concerned is all you're throwing down.

They weren't insurrectionists, no matter how many times you say it and click your little heels together. lol

They were not armed, they did not take over government, they did not change the government (as is being attempted today), and they left on their own free will once it was over.  Therefore it doesn't meet the criteria for the definition. Otherwise, every time your mother-in-law comes over, it's an insurrection, by your logic.

PTSD lol. In the face of a year's worth of violence, looting, murder, etc., from your side makes Jan. 6 look like child's play. You should be ashamed you even brought it up.

A simple protest that turned into an insurrection that was fueled by the Big Lie.  When someone uses a flag pole as a weapon, they are armed.  When someone sprays bear spray at the DC Police, they are armed.  When someone swings a bat around, they are armed.

They stopped government and fell short of accomplishing their goal of hanging pence and doing any other harm to any other member of Congress.  Thanks to the DC Police.

1. You must have missed it or are now intentionally lying. It did not qualify as an insurrection. You can have your personal feelings, but you can't have your personal facts. 

2. Government left. Nobody stopped the business of the day, at least no more so that the monthly Code Pink stuff. But government evacuated on their own decision. It truly doesn't really mean anything. It was ALSO their decision to not have extra officers in place.

I know about the DCPD claim. It wasn't a matter of ignorance. It was a matter of disinterest and comic opportunity.

You will never in your life time be able to spoon feed me anything (of factual value). This will always be a one-sided relationship. I bring you truth and facts. And you bring me Pravda.

Again, your opinion is based on.....you guessed it, your narrow-minded qnut ideas that don't qualify for any reasonable person to believe and are therefore baseless.  The definition of insurrection was posted in prior posts and if you read it which I doubt you did, or perhaps is was too complex of a concept for you to grasp.  Yeah, I'm sure that's what it was.

2. Gov't was stopped and were escorted to a safe place.  If it wasn't an insurrection then why did R clyde wet his pants helping to barricade the doors.  Is that what they do in a normal tourist visit?  I can tell you from experience, it is not.

3. DCPD claim?  Again, your ignorance of the English language is astounding but expected.  Perhaps you should revisit the definition of claim.  Have someone explain it to you because it will be above your comprehension.
