Impressive. Our quarterback back in the day couldn't throw it 40 yards standing on a hundred yard cliff with the wind at his back.
We had a back up QB that would split the webbing of your fingers at 40 yds. He just didn't have it between the ears.

This is horseshit.  Then f'ing stay and bring Texas back to that level of competing at a high level.  He is one player that can bring them back almost by himself.  He certainly can help be a ring leader and bring other top recruits to join him.  Be a leader and build it yourself.  When is the last time Texas had a 5* QB commit?  Garret Gilbert.

Ewers can't beat Austin Westlake, Maybe he needs to focus on that and not on why he's choosing to leave his state to play. Good luck to him. I like the guy we got who can fling it 80 yards, and hopefully a Manning in our future.

IMO the Westlake game impressed on Ewers the need for a OL.OSU has a better one ( at present) than Texas. The last 6-8 years is what most recruits remember.

Both 247 and TFB saying the recent Alabama offer to S Bryan Allen, Jr. of Aledo is something to keep an eye on.

This is an offer he's always wanted, and it helps that former Aledo prospects like McClellan and Earle are in Tuscaloosa.

IT confirmed Allen should be in Tuscaloosa next week with his younger brother, Jaden, who is camping.

Happy June 1st, everyone. Recruiting is back.
