PD, thats a political opinion from a liberal site. At the least, its ill advised to copy them and attempt to politicize a virus.

What the story doesn't try to say is the US has a higher standard of healthcare available than any nation in the world. Why would we buy WHO tests when we have always created our own?

When a new virus comes on the scene, the host country of origin will send out the code for the new virus. From that, other countries across the world are able to generate their own tests and also begin developing a medicinal remedy. Whoever gets there first, shares the remedy with the rest of the world.

The unfortunate part is that the US is behind other countries as far as testing and that's one of the key ways of containing the virus which is hard to do because it's so contagious. Also, with our lack of testing we could have a cluster of cases for the hospitals which they many not be able to handle which is going on in Italy which means some could die because of the lack of medical care.
 
If your 60 or older and especially if you have some other health issue I would recommend you build up your immune system as much as you can to fight it off. When people do get the virus the body goes into over drive of inflammation. If your healthy then you can fight it off. However if your immune system is compromise or your older then the inflammation response is too much to fight and your lungs are affected which could lead to difficulty in breathing and which could lead to death.
 
Some of the things that you can do to fight the virus is to make sure your Vitamin D3 levels are not low. Vitamin D is very important for the immune system and respiratory system. 
 
Also to build up the immune system or if you get the virus then high levels of vitamin C every hour will help fight the virus and the inflammation. Right now I'm taking 15 grams a day. Studies have shown that when you get a cold or the flu your need for Vitamin C goes up. Oregano oil is another virus fighter and anti inflammation.

I agree.  The coronavirus is not media driven.  The responsibility of the media is to keep us informed.  Dr Fauci stated this will get worse before it gets better.  Fauci is not a part of the media, he is a part of the administration's task force.  His message is reported through the media to keep us informed.  What people do with the information is their prerogative.  People stockpile guns and ammunition just in case.  People have tornado bunkers just in case.  If a tornado or hail is coming your way, the media is there to inform you about it.

You truly have to watch what you're doing in the realm of fact checking sites. Its because there is a faction of people who want to dictate truth, not catalog it.

Your listed source was founded by two Washington Post reporters. I think we ALL know how reliable and unbiased the Post is. lol They are in an outright war with the Trump administration, simply because the person who owns the rag hates Trump.

I put two decades in the media, running news rooms. I'm sorry, but you really don't have much of a media today. You have activist organizations pushing a distinct agenda with absolutely no shame.

No, a virus drives a virus.

But thats not the accusation anyway. The PANIC that you see all around you was directly and intentionally created by the media. We had two American soldiers die in Iraq the other day, but the media felt it more important to panic you instead of paying much attention to it.

The media will spend 30 seconds on a tornado story. This is wall to wall, 24/7. Nice comparison, lol.

 
Let me ask you Rotty. The H1N1 was far deadlier than this. Obama didn't declare an emergency until after six months and more than 1K deaths. The media yawned.

The media tried to act like counselors back then.

Why doesn't the common flu cause this panic annually? Thousands more die from it. The flu is more dangerous to the very same people who are vulnerable to Wuhan virus.

Right now, we have "fact check" sites and news organizations saying this isn't true. Seriously. They're saying this knowing all we have to do is search.

If your old enough to have enjoyed the 1969 Game of the Century Texas Arkansas game and you have some other disease then you to take as much of Vitamin C as possible. Vitamin C IV may be a good investment.

The current sole focus on vaccine and specific antiviral drugs for epidemics is misplaced."

He adds that: "Early and sufficiently large doses of intravenous vitamin C are critical. Vitamin C is not only a prototypical antioxidant, but also involved in virus killing and prevention of viral replication. The significance of large dose intravenous vitamin C is not just at antiviral level. It is acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) that kills most people from coronaviral pandemics (SARS, MERS and now NCP). ARDS is a common final pathway leading to death.

News of vitamin C research for COVID-19 is being actively suppressed


Anyone saying that vitamin therapy can stop coronavirus is already being labeled as "promoting false information" and promulgating "fake news." Even the sharing of verifiable news, and direct quotes from credentialed medical professionals, is being restricted or blocked on social media. Medical orthodoxy obsessively focuses on searching for a vaccine and/or drug for coronavirus COVID-19). Vitamin C and COVID-19 Coronavirus

(OMNS February 28, 2020) There is only one existing treatment for the new coronavirus: vitamin C.

Vitamin C supports your immune system.
Vitamin C helps to kill the virus and reduces the symptoms of infection.
It's not a COVID "cure," but nothing is.
It might just save your life, though, and will definitely reduce the severity of the infection.

If someone tells you it's not proven, consider two things:

  1. Nothing is proven to work against COVID-19, because it is a new virus.
  2. Vitamin C has worked against every single virus including influenzas, pneumonia, and even poliomyelitis.




What to do


If you do nothing else, start taking vitamin C right away; at least 3 grams a day, spread right across the day. That's a 1,000 milligram capsule every 8 hours, or a level teaspoon of powder dissolved in a pint or so of water, drank all through the day.

If you're smart and motivated, do all the other things recommended in our previous release Vitamin C Protects Against Coronavirus (http://orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/v16n04.shtml)

When and if you catch a bug that might be COVID-19, simply increase your vitamin C intake: a rounded teaspoon (that's 4 to 5 grams) in water (which helps to keep you hydrated) every 3 or 4 hours. And keep on taking it.

Do you consult a doctor? Do you self-isolate? Yes and yes. Of course you do; that's your duty to others.
