I read Bobby Dillon was elected the NFL Hall of Fame. I worked for him at Wilsonart. Bobby Dillon was president of Wilsonart while I was IT Director of Training and Curriculum. On several occasions I had the pleasure to travel with Bobby Dillon to other Wilsonart facilities. It was always a great experience.

Bobby played for Temple High School and then for The University of Texas, where he was an All-American. From there he was drafted by the Green Bay Packers. Despite only having one working eye, Bobby Dillon is the all-time Green Bay Packer's career interceptions leader with 52. He had 9 interceptions in one season three times, with a stretch between 1953–58 where he had 48 interceptions, averaging 8 interceptions per season. He was the second player in NFL history to record 50 interceptions.

Bobby was a strong and inspiring leader at work. We had many fun and friendly conversations away from work where his grandson and my son were on the same soccer team. 

Bobby Dillon passed away last August. I'm pleased the NFL is recognizing his talent on the field, as I and others, recognize his talent and leadership off the field.

While great coaches, do Cowher and Jimmie Johnson deserve to be HOFs?  They both won Super Bowls, JJ 2 of course.  I view coaches like Landry, Walsh, Noll, Lombardi as HOFs who coached for years and were icons of the game. Example: Landry coached a few decades, JJ and Cowher around 10 years coaching.  JJ doesn’t have a tremendous amount of wins for his NFL career, Cowher does have a lot more wins than JJ.  Thoughts?
