Some in the know think he will commit to Stanford very soon.
Nahlin was saying yesterday that Texas was trending up with Bragg and was lauding Hand for the relationship he had developed with Bragg.

I have not been able to find anything from the brainiacs that says one way or the other.

Aggy may get 3 OL commits this weekend (all are mid 3*'s, nobody we are looking at).

Perroni now saying they don't know if Shepherd will visit this weekend.
So what if they are 3 stars ?  That coach of theirs puts guys like that in the NFL.  Hell of a lot more than what we've been doing up until Connor Williams.

He and Justin did some checking this morning.. They pretty much said its Stanford and it could go down any day.

Bragg is a bad ass at Center and that would be a huge blow to OL. I hope he decides to hold of on committing until october/november/december.

Jeffery Carter is, imo, head and shoulders the best CB in the state. I am not sure if/what off field issues there are or are not. He is damn talented. He is cousins with recent DL offer Tauren Carter. I assume they have some interest in playing together.

If Bragg was a foregone conclusion to Stanford, I'd think the CB's would be rolling in.  Every kid has to be vetted and accepted before committing to Stanford, that's their process.  They may clearly be in the running, but it's still standard protocol at this point.

I hate losing kids to Stanford, but I get it.

I don't see it. Even if he does commit, I don't see it sticking.

There's too much Texas country boy in Bragg to stick at Stanford. He'll be a personality island out there.

Thats without talking about distance.

Still too painful to talk about Walker Little? :D
Watched him dominant every camp he went to the summer prior to his senior year and saw him steal a kid’s soul in person at The Opening. Every time I saw him he seemed to be getting better.

Was very easy to develop a prospect crush after watching and talking to him.

Take this FWIW but aggy rivals mod Passwaters is saying Shepherd isn't visiting aggy this weekend but is making a return trip to Austin.
There were conflicting answers on whether he would indeed make it to A&M this weekend, so if he does skip on that visit to come back to Texas that’s a telling sign.

I’m not one to think Bragg is the type of kid to go back on his word.

I’m sure Texas would stay after him, but it has the Walker Little vibe to it.
