Let’s talk CWS Regionals

LSU appears to be the only team in the $ec that has to travel far. aggy yet again gets to play in Texas.

Okay, I'm having an argument with a friend who is a Baylor grad. He Is claiming the Big 12 conference championship via the Bears tournament win.

I corrected him and said you are Big 12 Tournament Champs, Texas is the Big 12 Conference Champs.

Amiright?

That is how I would word it. Texas won the conference but Baylor won the tournament.

Pay attention to this little nugget:

”Which No. 3 seeds have the best chance to advance to Super Regionals?

Since 2011, six of the last seven DI baseball championships have featured at least two No. 3 seeds in the Super Regionals (2013 was the lone exception). Texas A&M (39-20) might be the best team in the Austin Region, and playing in the gauntlet of the SEC has only helped prepare the Aggies for the tournament. Other No. 3 seeds that could make things interesting include Cal State Fullerton, Dallas Baptist and San Diego State.”

Dear NCAA.com,

Never go full aggy. There coach was a Tuesday tournament loss away from looking for a job.

Warm Regards,

someone with a clue

Shugart going game 1! He is well rested and the stuff is good enough to beat TSU game 1 even without great control. Hopefully he is on fire tomorrow night!

Watching the Georgia vs Troy game and it sure does seem to me that Georgia is getting some home cooking. On a check swing, the 3rd base ump said the Troy batter went around however it didn't appear he did. In true E$PN fashion, they never showed the replay since the call appears to have favored the $ec.

Be that said, Troy is not helping themselves with their fielding.

Well this this idiot's credit, he did pick Fullerton but even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then.   :P
