**Tom Herman Signing Day Press Conference Thread**

Sorry, was trying to watch and type on the fly. Herman said he would not be opposed to calling plays. Sounds like the possibility is there and it is something he is willing to do.
Interesting development for sure. For most of last season he said the opposite. I believe we might not see any further changes on the coaching staff if TH is going to call the plays.

Worked out just fine for Lincoln Riley and the land thieves.... surprised he didn’t decide this earlier in the season

Would be rather strange with co-offensive coordinators and neither calling plays.
OCs responsible for installing plays, getting guys in the right place, and assisting with game planning. Playcaller is a special skill IMO, Beck has no feel for gameflow and does not how to make adjustments when something isn’t working.

I agree, may be strange but I don’t care long as it produces W’s

Agree with both of these comments, but seems to me that if you have 2 offensive coordinators, that 1 of them would be able to call plays. Idk if there is another team that has that set up. Whatever works, but seems like a lot of hands in 1 pot.
