With early signing, NSD is boring this year. Left tackle is the most important spot and we won't know that until later in the spring. We get Coburn and Ingram and the rest is gravy. It feels like this is going big big, but even if we miss someone, this is still an outstanding class. 

Needs:

OLine - looks solid if we get the kid from Rice

DBs - check +

QBs - check +

DLine - check with Coburn

RB - check with Ingram

TE - check

Those were the big needs. All checks. Can't wait for next year. We're all tired of losing. Starts with not losing 2 OOC games this year. Just can't let that happen again.

@Daniel Seahorn wouldn't Overshown be an ideal fit for the Rover LB spot? I mean he is both great in coverage having played S most of the time, but also big and physical enough to be closer to the LOS? Do you have any thoughts on this?

Another thing: What about Jamison playing slot. I'm not aware he ever played WR in HS and have no idea about his hands and route running ability. But he excels in the return game and has some athletic ability that would suit well in the slot. He is quick, shows the ability to make YAC and is physical enough to play in the middle.

If Overshown outgrows safety that would be his likely fit on the defense. 

Haven’t really given much thought on Jamison in the slot. Without knowing much about his route running and knowledge for the position I can’t make much of an assessment.

Also they're not worried about Coburn and Ingram.

Keys will let coaches know next Tuesday where he will be going and they think ND could run out of room.

Hard to tell really. He was close to pulling the trigger to UT over the summer, then the staff kinda reduced contact. If they would have kept pushing, he would be ours for sure. Now he feels like a contingency plan, but the staff is making up some ground apparently. I thought he would be Baylor bound because they have been the one's pushing for him the hardest throughout the whole process. But he loves Texas. 

I think the school he takes his OV to this weekend is the one that is going to land him, either Baylor or UT IMO.
