Yes, it is soon. Her appearance late last week was early but at the time, we weren't real sure when show time's exact day/time would be. So she came out anyway. And we applaud that decision.

I have no issue with the players that want to sit out of the bowl game to get ready for the NFL draft. The only reason a 6-6 team goes to a bowl game in the first pace is money. If Malik had gone to A&M then Sumlin might still be coach, He would had attracted more Texas HS players to A&M Malik helped ground the swag copter and we rule this state.. What did we give Malik, nothing but three years of mediocre football
 
However, if UT were going to the championship series and they sat out because of the NFL draft then I wouldn't ever root for them in NFL. That's just me and if Colt McCoy had refused to go  back in the Alabama game when he was healthy enough to play, but his daddy or grandma said no then I would never root for Colt in NFL. 
 
i know enough about Colt that he was a warrior. He committed as a 3 star nobody when UT had a commitment from the number one QB in the country. The thought that Colt would came back from the locker room and tell Jordan Shipley he was fine to play, but he wants to protect his draft status  is a joke.
 
i personally would be happy to be corrected on that fact just so I could feel good about a longhorn great, i guess when your dumb enough to believe that rumor then you dumb enough not to care about the truth. Instead it's attack and then lie about it.
