Injury Update - Post OSU

Not sure what the college rule is but UIL you're out 10 days min. If college is the same, they are out against Baylor.

There was a play late in the game where it appeared Sam got his bell rung on the OSU sideline and it took him a bit to bounce back up. I was at the game so I didn't see the replay.
That’s the exact play I’m thinkin of. I was up high but I didn’t think he was getting up

Ok, I'm confused. I knew about the hit against OU, but there have also been mentions of a hit against OSU as well that Ehlinger took to the head. I don't remember him taking a hit like that against OSU.

I think that's the one. 2nd play of overtime

There was a hit late in the 4th Quarter on the boundary his head slammed into the turf.  He got up a lil slow and even the announcers mentioned it and replayed it.  His head hit the turf which was very similar to the play he hit his head vs ou.

@Adferrum has the play above.  It was overtime

Our QB's are forced to run enough when the pass protection breaks down. Calling designed run's the week after your starting QB had his bell rung and the backup's gimp is a recipe for disaster.

If Beuchele is back for Baylor we need to dink pass them to death. Spread the field get the ball out quick and let your playmakers make plays. We keep putting the TE on the LOS of at an H back, bringing a second RB, anything we can to help pick up pass rushers. Regardless of how many we bring to help somebody blows an assignment and it allows the defense to put one more in the box. (good luck running).

5 O-Linemen, QB, and RB or empty. Make the defense spread out or play without a safety. Surely our line can be in the way for 1 Mississippi or 2 at the most.

Man... I've watched the replay a few times. No matter what the rule is they should really think about sitting Ehlinger for a while.

It's crazy how similar both impacts are - heading the same direction with forward momentum, slightly on the sidelines, and similar game situation.

Hard to not think of David Ash and the problems he had with concussions, now that Ehlinger has had them in consecutive games. After Ash got that first one the rest kept coming with subsequent impacts. Nothing about this offense is going to change any time soon, and Sam isn't going to change his game. If he gets a 3rd concussion the discussion around him becomes much different.
