I’m working on getting in touch with Ossai for quotes. Word is the visit went very well, but A&M still gets the last visit.

– Joseph Ossai: Per a source very close to Ossai, Texas has taken the lead in this one following the Texas official visit. I’m told the visit impressed Ossai and his family so much that his sister is actually considering transferring from UH to Texas next year.
Ossai is a high academic recruit who plans on majoring in Engineering. The family was really pleased to hear about the new 350 million dollar engineering building. Also, as a family of Nigerian descent I’m told they actually met with an engineering professor of Nigerian descent.
Again, I’m told Texas has overtaken TAMU. Source gave no timeline on a decision. Hope to know more on that later this week. – (Super K)
– Texas-Oklahoma Visitors: Every year there is a big recruiting turnout when Texas and Oklahoma face off each year in Dallas. This year will be no different as Tom Herman and Lincoln Riley make their HC debuts in the game. This year is Texas’ turn to host recruits for the game, so they’ll be the Longhorns guests and be on their sideline. So all the recruits that we update you on that plan to attend the game, will be invited by Texas.
– DaShaun White: I recently had a note on Richland (TX) Texas A&M LB commit DaShaun White. The main point was that Texas was keeping in contact with him but since they hadn’t offered he wasn’t showing much interest in return. But like I say with recruiting, things can change quickly and that could happen with White and Texas.
I was told over the weekend that an offer from Texas could be coming to White as soon as this week. Right now it seems like White and his camp are waiting until a possible offer actually comes before saying much. As I don’t blame them as they thought an offer from Texas was coming after White’s performance at Texas’ camp in July. One thing to know is that he will be at the Cotton Bowl this weekend for Texas-OU.
Right now Oklahoma is the main competition to flip him from Texas A&M. If something were to happen with Kevin Sumlin there, I would predict him flipping to the Sooners. He was in College Station over the weekend for an unoffical visit. Right now the only official visit he has planned is to Oklahoma on October 28th. If Texas offers, I would say they’d likely get an official visit from White. But like I said earlier, lets see if an offer actually comes. – (Andrew)
– Tanner McKee: Texas hosted Centennial (CA) QB Tanner McKee on an official visit over the weekend. It was his first official visit and it sounds like the Longhorns made a really solid impression. He told me “It was amazing. The family atmosphere and the desire they have to win really stood out. They understand it takes hard work and execution to be successful.”
I said going into the weekend that I felt like Stanford and BYU likely led for McKee, and I still feel that way. When I asked him if Texas could’ve moved into the lead and he said “It’s my first official so I’ll wait and see some other places before making ant statements. They have made a great impression though.”
The next two officials for McKee will likely be Alabama and Stanford in the month of November. His BYU official visit will be the weekend before NSD, and told me Washington will likely be late in the season or after the season. – (Andrew)

Just give it a few days.I am confused. Usually in the past when we see Kate, a commitment is coming. We have seen Kate, but no commitment.

Per Gerry Hamilton, Texas will get an official visit from 5-Star WR Terrace Marshall for the Kansas game. Will also visit Bama, FSU, LSU, and TAMU.

I vote that SHA should be required to give us a new Kate sighting each day until the commitment is announced. Similar to an advent calendar but awesomer.I am confused. Usually in the past when we see Kate, a commitment is coming. We have seen Kate, but no commitment.
