Vongor to TCU, not much of a surprise. Looking like it's Foster and O'Neal or bust.

CB picks coming in for Chasen Hines to LSU. Not sure what to think on this one with the supposed weight issues. Might make getting Barton Clement all the more important now.

So, are the Horns looming to get another commit anytime soon? Or are we waiting until the summer to get our next one?

Wouldn't be surprised to see Texas ease off the gas with Hines. He needs some serious body reshaping.

Recruiting is fluid. You never know with some of these kids. Next date I would keep an eye on is the spring game.

Yup it was very much expected. You land the two you mentioned then you aren't too upset if you're Texas.

Daniel, can you expand on your impression of Vonger at the camp?

Doesn't sound as though we missed on much

247 is saying OT Max Wray will visit this weekend.
His younger brother Jake will be making the trip with him as well. Both hold Texas offers.

I'm going to bet both end up playing their football in the southeastern region of the country.

Okay Daniel, just off the top of your head and only applicable to right now . . . how does Texas finish the year in both recruiting and football? Not holding you to anything here, just interested in how you're seeing things right now.

On the football front, I'm optimistic that this thing gets turned around. 9-3 if not 10-2 plus a bowl.

On recruiting, it is really hard to say. I'd like to suggest a top 10 finish . . BUT . . we've only got one in the fold right now and he's got a track record of a travel agency.

I'm going to go conservative and say 8 wins this year (not including a potential bowl win) with a fringe top 10 finish on the recruiting trail. If Texas finishes better than that then recruiting is going to be a lot of fun in January and February.
