I'm told that it is no longer happening today and that Wilson plans on rescheduling a visit after the season starts. Was told he was exhausted from his recent trip out to Vegas.

Things will work itself out. This recruitment isn't going to be won in July anyway. Get him on campus for an unofficial or two during the year, then get him up here in January.

No problem. I know a lot of people won't like it, but Texas is still in a good spot for Marvin.
Glad to hear it. You never know how these things play out and would have been a great way to follow up a successful camp. With most of the elite players its going to come down to racking up some Ws, so we'll have to show it on the field.

Daniel, IF Texas was to win say 9 games, at what percentage would you put the chances of landing Wilson? I know there are other factors at play, but what are your thought?

As one Texas commit recently put it: Even if Texas wins just 8 games, Texas will have a chance to land guys you didn't think were possible.

I don't like putting percentages on kids, but if 9 wins happen I will like Texas' chances a good bit in this recruitment.

I think it's much more about progression than there is about wins. IF and I do mean a big IF Texas pulls a hell of a MONSTER year, then the roof will blow off the house and it becomes another interesting year in recruiting. All eyes are on them.

Sho, it is about progression. In year 3 for Charlie, progression has to amount to Ws on the field. You never know how seasons play out. You can have a great 8 win season or a disappointing 8 win season. These elite guys love Charlie, but also want to play for hardware and one way of predicting future success is to look at the win column. It's probably not fair to Charlie since it's becoming more obvious how bear the cupboard was when he arrived, but this is Texas. I'm all in favor of him getting a 4th year regardless of what happens and I know he's on the cusp of something huge. Hope the team puts it all together this year and gets UT back where it belongs.

Thanks. I'm so ready for the season to begin!!

Would prefer he be ready for his visit to UT than be worn out from a previous trip
