Facilities talk has been eerily quiet lately. I'll have Will Baizer check with his sources in the AD to see if there's an answer past the rendering Texas released a few weeks ago.

I think a lot depends on the impending vote to lift the suspension of Briles after this year. If Briles is indeed terminated I expect those releases to eventually come and I would say 2 guys is probably a realistic guess. There are some changing dynamics there we will detail in Burnt Ends

yeah....My guess is that after bailer "suddenly" discovers that St Briles might have made some mistakes, they really are not that bad, so they are going to cruelly suspend him for a year ( certainly enough, now that we think about it....) and be shocked that the rest of the world does not agree (but then, what the hell....screw em).

I dont think they would even be having this revote if they were serious about firing him.

Bottom line.....they aint releasing anybody.

Texas still leads.  I believe I have the strongest sources out there on the Graham recruitment, and they assure me he just wasn't ready to shut it down.  He wants to visit Oklahoma and USC, but I would be very surprised if Texas doesn't win out.

I think most of them would try to enroll with the expectation Briles would be back.

There are always a few we are keeping an eye on, but nobody right now that we know of.  Like I said, there are a few names that could go at any time.

In your opinion, is there much weight Briles doesnt get fired and if so with all the Stanford swimmer rape fiasco.  How likely will this back fire in their faces?

Reports are out now the Briles thing is dead. I think they saw the public outcry and ejected. The Stanford story is deplorable, but I don't feel the school is in the wrong or shows a lack of institutional control

Heard a story today at UT freshman orientation about Jordan Elliot. Talked to some folks who's kid is friends with Jordan. Seems Jordan and 6 guys committed to CS long time before NS day and then they all just played the media. Also, I joined the Texas Parent Association. Any of y'all a member, if so what is your opinion of it. 🤘
