Burton is claiming Baylor's recruitment/signing of Devin Duvernay was not on the up and up, which is the real reason behind him suddenly becoming a high school free agent.
Baylor assistants supposedly evaluated him in person one more time than the NCAA allows (3 instead of 2). The extra eval was at a track meet which his brother was not running (this is why it only applies to Devin).
In an attempt to circumvent the NCAA on this blunder, Baylor did not submit his NLI. If this is all true then it was not a "mix-up," but rather more intentional action by Baylor. Burton adds this was all done with out the family's knowledge.
He says he will followup with more once they agree to return his phone calls.
Devin is supposed to be in Austin on Monday.
