***Texas vs Oklahoma Official Sunday Game Thread***

Texas should have dropped game 1, as OU flat out-played them.

Today, Texas out-played ou, but the E6 allowed them to tie it up. The lead-off walk in B9 and the pop up that Kacy couldn't field really hurt.

Also, Texas' failure to push runs across the plate with RISP, (I think Texas left 7 on today, and were 2/9 with RISP,) is a recurring theme.

Next game is Tuesday against A&M CC. T

Got to disagree with you that we outplayed them. The error wasn't bad luck or a bad hop. It was bad fielding.

Which is why it was an error. I am not understanding your perspective here. We had ample opportunity to win this game. We played better than they did for 7 1/3 innings. B6 (two plays) and B9 they played better than we did.

Bad fielding on the E6 was exactly as I explained it in the PBP. I never said it was a bad hop or bad luck. Maybe on the pop up in B9, you could claim bad luck. Not on the play at SS.

When your mistakes (poor play) cost you the game you did not out play them. All I'm saying.

Don't see how you can argue that.

We're 12-16 and just lost a series to a team Tech bludgeoned 24-8 in a 3-game sweep. We're now past the halfway point so the elusive 'next gear' better happen PDQ. Not terribly optimistic.
As posted a week ago. We are what our record says we are.
