This team simply isn't good. Augie has accomplished a lot at Texas but it's time for a change. There's a lot of young talent on this team so it would be a good time for a transition. 

It has been this way for years. He got lucky a few years ago that the pitching got hot and got them to CWS. But if you take out that year Texas baseball has been average or worse for years.

Long term we have to do something about recruiting

I'm not so sure it's a recruiting issue. Right now I don't have the definitive answers. Something is wrong. We entered the season with the question mark being offense.

We racked up 30 hits this weekend.

Defense and pitching, which were supposed to be our strength, have been the things that have stung us lately.
