as I am usually late to the party, I heard that Sumlin just fired his OL coach after NSD (must have been today or last night then) is this old news?....whats up with that?

Not only did he fire his OL coach, but then the coach's wife and her friend started slamming Sumlin on twitter, Liucci jumped in and the fired coach started re-tweeting all the stuff slamming Sumlin.

The fired coach then deleted all his re-tweets of the stuff slamming Coach Boozer and the wives set their twitter accounts to private. It was a raucous evening in the trailer park.

My guess is it was Irvin but he signed with Satan.  Some thought it was Caleb but he signed at 8:00 last night.  Book closed now.
No TFB said it wasn't Irvin Smith. They wouldn't tell us who, but asserted that Smith wasn't yet committed, and the player they were talking about had been committed for a while. I heard Rahssan Thornton called the staff the night before/morning of.

Good Bull --

"Hubris, in Greek tragedy, is defined as"excessive pride toward or defiance of the gods, leading to nemesis." So when popular Texas A&M website TexAgs.com used their considerable resources this year to produce a high-quality film about one recruit, a top target for Texas A&M's 2016 class, the stage was set. On An Island: Being Brandon Jones documents the recruiting process of one of the Aggies' biggest targets, the top Texas safety and ESPN 300 #49 overall recruit Brandon Jones.

The best part is the huge plot twist at the end.

****** *

....  While the folks at TexAgs know as well as anyone that no recruit is a lock until the LOI is faxed in, this inspiring drama of hope and redemption will unfortunately be billed as a tragedy when it hits Netflix. Except in Austin, where it is probably a comedy.

Fortunately, there is a great tag line for the movie poster taken straight from the trailer:

He's gonna have to tell everybody no. Except for one."

2 minute trailer if you never seen  http://texags.com/s/19089/coming-soon-on-an-island-being-brandon-jones

Texas is leading on CB's but trending down.  EJ Holland predicted LSU it seems.  I wouldnt count Strong out though

http://247sports.com/PlayerInstitution/Marvin-Wilson-at-Episcopal-64283/CurrentExpertPredictions
Holland  said LSU and UT are tied currently, with LSU maybe having a slight lead. I think he will go SEC whether that be bama, lsu, or ole mi$$$$$$, but if he doesn't, UT would be his pick. On a side note: Wilson looks real good, but he plays in a horrible private school league. Really interested to se what he does in the camps and at the army all american game.

If there were 1 defensive tackle I would want Texas to take in 2017 it would be Marvin Wilson. Really don't wanna see him go to Alabama or LSU

Someone can post if they want, I don't want to. Also they note that Jmad was another recruit who almost flipped, but he just couldn't pull the trigger.

There was mention yesterday some of the guys and coaching staff were very surprised Hudson didnt sign with us.  I think Briles got wind of the flip and closed him out early.  Hudson signed way before his slotted time.

Briles ruined the kids moment.
