Alabama did not even use their TE all season as a receiver

One game

They have 4 TE's on the roster

And they already have 2 TEs in the 2016 class

Does that mean you are calling Anderson to UT?

Would be great if it happens but the scuttle he remains solid to Old DIxie

I will be happy to be wrong

Sometimes its gooood to be wrooong

He hasn't been solid to Ole South since his visit.

Still very much in play.

Why do I have this gut feeling we may have another PJ Locke mystery recruit surprise pull on us

PJ was a case of being open minded at the right time. We slow played him and then at the end made a push. Seems like a second option, which very well could happen in this class.

There are a few that are still playing things out in their heads. Even those who have made their minds up in most cases haven't stopped thinking about it. So forget about anything set in stone until their announcements are made.

All that said, lol, things look mighty good.

Anyone see Sherrington's offering today? Is he on crack? lol

Just as aggy moves over to the sec, thinking the move will increase their recruitment of State of Texas recruits, up rises a Hugh Freeze-coached Ole Miss to go with recent national champions Alabama (now with 4) LSU and Auburn.

So now aggy has 4 programs to deal with in a 7-team division, with only Miss State and Piggy as ones they can try and stay on top of.

Look at the coaches...

Nick Saban, Alabama

Les Miles, LSU

Guz Malzahn, Auburn

Hugh Freeze, Ole Miss

Pundits not colored maroon warned that the move to the sec would only increase the likelihood that recruits from Texas that don't want to play with Texas-based BigXII schools would just as soon go to other programs in the sec, such as the ones just named. As opposed to a&m.

I wonder what the numbers show of recruits from the State of Texas with increased draw to LSU, Alabama and Ole Miss, just over the past 24 months? In other words, instead of going to College Station, they prefer those three programs... then add Arkansas.

Aggy is in a now-and-future recruiting fight with Texas, Baylor, TCU, Houston, LSU, Ole Miss, and Alabama. They never saw UH coming, and they did not see Ole Miss coming. And they were hoping Texas would fall into a lull and stay there. Just being in the sec has not really brought the sure-fire recruiting they believed. But for sure, the interest in State-of-Texas talent by sec west teams has never been more than it is now. Aggy misread the tea leaves completely.

Agree, and think it will get worse the further it goes. The longer they keep Sumlin just makes it worse.

Does this look like a Texas lanyard to you guys?

F@#k aggie

It's just aggy being aggy. They'd rather send a 4 star TE to a team they'll actually play and lose to for the next four years than have them come to Texas which would help them beat a team in their conference.

Think about it . . . lol
