Texas squares off against #6 West Virginia at 6 pm CST on ESPNU.

Tonight's game is the first of a pair of road games against Top-10 ranked opponents. The 'Horns will face Kansas in Lawrence on Saturday.

The Mountaineers are undefeated at home.

Important stretch for Shaka Smart and the guys.

And FWIW Joe Lunardi currently has Texas tagged as an 11-seed.

I think this game, and Kansas, are important, not because we have to win them, but we need to stay competitive in them.  That will build confidence for these guys.

WVU tied w/ Texas at 7 a piece, 11:33 left in the first half. Texas already with 9 fouls.

Both teams well under season averages in scoring at the half.  WVU scores 84.2 ppg, Texas at around 74 ppg.

Any updates on the injury report from the players that's been banged up?

Taylor with only 4 points thus far.  If you told me Texas would be leading 42-35 with 9:00 left to play and Isaiah with only 4 points, I wouldn't believe it.

Here's the Ibeh play:

WVU all press, all the time is reminiscent of the old Nolan Richardson 40 minutes of hell.
