I don't even know where to begin...

But I'll take a shot at it.

1) Davis had his struggles like most freshmen do, but he also provided some very impressive moments and was a leader on the team in PBU's IIRC.  

2) That has nothing to do with Eboh recruitment

3) Eboh and his parents are VERY focused on academics.  An offer from Stanford was a dream to them and Obi is a very bright kid.  He's not gone yet and is struggling with the decision but the academic prowess of Stanford along with their athletic success has them in this battle.
