Interesting hand sign in one of these photos:
That's an H for H-town

Back of hand out

I think Paul Wall started it

The third finger would represent U of H, not just the city.
True.

Well shit, way to burst my bubble guys.

Edit:

I changed my mind back. That's a Hook'Em sign. He's coming to Texas. Ya'll can call it the Houston sign. I'll call it what it is.

.....One of 247's national guys - Ryan Bartow -- was supposed to speak to Delance last night

He CBd Delance to Texas back in mid-Oct

So was waiting to see if he was going to flip it to Mich today.  So far he has not
FWIW, Bartow has still not flipped his CB on Delance

There is a clear split among the Mich Gurus and the Texas Gurus on Delance (Bartow doesnt count since he is natl)

Big Blue thinks they have the edge with where Delance himself wants to go

Texas thinks it has the edge based on its and Strong's influence with the mom and the aunt (+ an ill grandma in the state)

It will be interesting to see who prevails

If Elliott flipped to us, would it be logical to count him as a commit? lol  Or would we need to time this so we're the last chick he dates when the music stops? lol
Whoever does get his commitment will have to stay on him until the signature

Perhaps beyond (re: Lampkin)

Some have suggested Delance will need to be approached the same way, regardless of who he names on Jan 2

Well, Lampkin was also a class issue. Do we know if Delance will quickly qualify?

Juan how good of a chance do we have of flipping Patrick Hudson?
Seems more and more good rumors are popping up

Here is an exchange I had with an HS in-house person (the dates/times below are wrong, this was actually from last night) --

Juan Grande, on 30 Dec 2015 - 08:58 AM, said:

I keep seeing that Hudson's sister is at or has been accepted into Baylor

But is trying to get into UT

And that this will affect his end decision.

Anyone have a better grasp of the facts on this?

He doesnt really say much in interviews.  He seems bright, just doesnt volunteer information -- which, I think, sets him out a bit from the rest of the crowd.

The sister is definitely a factor and Texas is working that angle. Someone I spoke to said Texas was really optimistic about Hudson and brought up how the sister was open to going to UT as well.

Another CB today of D'Andre Christmas-Giles to LSU (From an LSU247 person -GeauxingBald)

There are now 8 CBs on Giles this month, all to LSU (including several of the national guys, which is not a good sign)

EJ Holland is the only CB to Texas

Possibly explains the late push by us on Chris Daniels

LSU may lose their DC to Auburn

Maybe this will shake the recruit tree a little?

Or, how about this idea -- Orgeron moves up to LSU DC + Haley to LSU DL = Hurtt to Texas DL?

Keep the videos coming, I like them, what if we get Anderson AND Jones??? Wouldn't that be something. Coach strong sure does know how to build a secondary. Look at what he did at Louisville

Brandon Jones on Coach Strong (who personally recruited Jones) --

“What stands out to me is how he talks to me, my mom and my brothers about more than just football.  He really wants me to become a better man and have a great life outside of football. He’s really like a father figure.â€

Jones on Traylor (who has also been hard after Jones) --

“I enjoyed it when he came to my house.  He’s a great guy.  He’s an East Texas guy.  He’s coached high school football, so he understands recruiting.  He doesn’t just say what you want to hear.  He keeps it real.  You kind of want to stick with East Texas guys.â€

Under tha radar DE who we might look at is Bronson Massie

-- "I keep in close touch with Coach Traylor. He’s an awesome dude. He said I’m moving higher on their recruiting list.â€

We have 7 commits on offense.  Higs thinks at least 5 (up to 7) more from among --

Jean Delance

Irvin Smith (aggy commit)

Zach Shackelford (KSU commit)

Lil’Jordan Humphrey

Devway Whaley

J.P. Urquidez  (Baylor commit)

Patrick Hudson (Baylor commit)

Kyle Porter

possibly others
