***** TEXAS vs. TEXAS TECH GAME THREAD *****

Has a team ever rushed for over 400 yards and lost?

I'm going to bed now but I expect to have the answer when I log back on in the morning.

If Gray starts over Warren against Baylor I would fire Charlie on the spot.

Just got home from the game. I'm soaked, cold, bummed and pissed. Didn't read any of this thread but was that the worse call ever on 4th & 6 (or whatever it was) especially after a TO?

I'm drying off and going to bed. Hope yall had a good Thanksgiving, minus this #@%$*&^ game.

I liked that the team kept fighting back but in the end this was a game that the Longhorns could have won but the play call on 4th and 6 still has me scratching my head. I know we had several injuries but that is the nature of this sport and you have to learn how to win those games with the players that are available. I came away from this game feeling that we could have and should have won this game despite the injuries but we didn't and that is my frustration. I am just going to leave it at that for now...anything else I say would be based more on emotion than practical insight.

Tyrone Swoopes was 9 - 18 for 52 yards. Heard was 2 - 5 for 12 yards. They cannot pass the ball.

I may be mistaken but I believe at least 2 of Heard's incompletions hit the receivers right in the hands. Swoopes missed a wide open receiver (Joe I think?) on the west sideline that would have been 6 easy.

When Tech scored on their version of the immaculate reception, I knew it wasn't going to be our night. This has been one weird season for sure!

Defense played lights out 1st half and gave our offense plenty of chances to put points on the board. But...........

It took 8 injuries on defence before we decide to run the D@#! Ball
