Thanks so much Don & Jeff. I truly appreciate the effort.White wins the Fall World Series 2-1
Donald once again was the conduit to information. Really appreciate his taking time to do this.
How hard does Hassan throw this season? Good curve?Uneventful T7; as Wellman works another scoreless inning for Orange, his 3rd of the day. Ridgeway back out to toss B7 for White.
Beau Ridgeway. :lol:How hard does Hassan throw this season? Good curve?
Way to early IMO to project a rotation. Certainly not based off of this Fall series. It only saw most guys throw 3-4 innings.I know it's early, but Joey and Donald what do you expect the lineup to look like? I'm really interested to see who we start on the mound.
1st Base will be Barrera or CantuOK, here's how I see it:
1B: Shugart or Kacy Clemens, probably a platoon situation there. May see some Tres there on occasion, but I wouldn't count on it. Shugart really was impressive this weekend.
2B: Baker-without question
SS: Boswell looks like he can make the move to SS and not have any issues. He may even do better there than at 3B.
3B: Kody Clemens should have this spot locked down. Impressive defender and a bat we have to have in the lineup.
LF: This one is tough. Three guys could make an impact. Denny, Harlan and Jones are the names if I had to choose today.
CF: Gurwitz should be the guy-his defense is incredible, but his bat has to come back around. I think Rand gets more than a few looks here as well; kid was pretty solid this weekend.
RF: Mathis or Jones
C: Obvious-Cantu & Tres will platoon
Look for the C that isn't in the lineup, Shugart, Harlan and Kacy Clemens rotated out at DH spot.
As I mentioned, I am nowhere close to picking a rotation. Not enough of a sample size yet. As we get closer to the season, I think the rotation will be more clear. You know that Johnston, Mayes, Culbreth and Cooper will be in the mix, with at least two of them likely having starting spots. The newbs will definitely have an impact-they all showed some good stuff this weekend. Whether they're in as starters or not remains to be seen.
Donald, what do you think after watching the games the last two days? Are these about right?
