How does OC change effect Wickline?

With Norvell being announced the new Offensive Coordinator, how does that effect Wickline with his lawsuit?

Has he been named OC? Or is he just calling plays?

According to folks on the Tweeter, he's officially the new OC. Watson and Wickline will stay on the staff as position coaches.

Simple explanation to OSU and the courts: The offensive system we had with Watson as playcaller and Wickline as OC wasn't working out so we went in another direction.

I never have liked this whole shell game with OSU and Wickline. Why didn't we just write OSU a check, pat them on their little head, and send them on their way? This lawsuit, IMO, has done more damage than the $600,000 it would have cost to begin with. We need to move past this. Hopefully this is a step that way.

Because Texas isn't liable and at this point, who knows if Wickline will be on the staff in 2016.

The reason it should pay this lawsuit is that it would simply end the big lie.

We now have a situation where a receivers coach making half what Watson and wickline make is ostensibly their superior.

So why not come clean, pay off osu and then categorically state that norvell is the oc and the other two guys will be the highest paid qb and o-line coaches in the land?

To state that ut is not liable is fatuous...ut's lawyers surely read wickline's contract and also knew that he wouldn't be making an upwards move since Watson was in place as oc.

Until this is remedied, this corruption will reign supreme.

And as to whether wickline may or may not be on the staff next year, when did that have anything to do with acting honestly?

Too bad his salary is not guaranteed like Charlie's entire five-year deal....your practical, albeit unethical approach wouldn't matter much then.
