Notre Dame Game

Congrats on the move Blake! Love Chicago but haven't been back in over 10 years.

At least you're closer to those traditonal B1G schools.  Several B1G stadiums are on my bucket list!
Yeah, maybe I'll be able to make the Texas/Michigan game in 2024. If I'm still up here around that time. Winter may send me packing.

I love me some Chicago pizza too
It really is the best. Outside of Cane Rosso in DFW.

At least he has a sense of humor about it. Hopefully it'll be resolved soon.

Read on a search just now...Royal felt the band was worth 7 points on the road.
Yep, he certainly did, and he made certain that we were treated like a part of the team. He frequently would visit our rehearsals (Memorial Stadium). He would stay for quite some time and talk to Mr. D, watch practice, and even climb on the tower to observe.

It really made us feel appreciated. The rehearsals were very spirited when he was there.

Amazing men, he and Mr. D.

Last night, LHN showed the OSU game

Rmbr when Armanti flashed his wheels?

I also remember when Swoopes flashed his arm and decent game management acumen against OSU and ISU.

Gave me hope that he may become a serviceable CFB quarterback.

Oh, Brian, why don't you ask Kurt? It really does help to play nice, you know?

Hook 'em!

It's a pretty vibrant and cultured area. I'm enjoying it so far. I haven't lived in a Blizzard yet so we'll see how I'm feeling in a couple of months.

I haven't been there but I'll put it on the list. The relative ease and getting a 10/10 pizza up here is wonderful. With that said, I'm only three months in and I'm missing Mexican food something terrible. I've been to several places thus far but none of them can hold a candle to some of the worst places I had in Texas.
If you just come to accept that there is no Tex-Mex in Chicago and you should stop searching - things will go easier.

That said - Rick Bayless' restaurants are legit.  Wait times can be a bit ridiculous on the weekends, but totally worth it.  Especially if you can get there before the Chiles Rellenos sell out (I think they are the special on Thursdays).
