OL Terrell Cuney cited for Class B misdemeanor, released without booking

Just a guess, but Terrell will probably be spending more quality time with Pat.

To answer a question about if Wickline likes Cunney......If he ever plays meaningful snaps at Texax I'll be amazed.

Sometimes I honestly question what the hell Mack was doing. Cunney should be on a roster like Sam Houston State.

Not on the same level as stealing or "forgetting" to pay for something but once in my jr year in high school..me and a few guys on the team skipped the 2nd half of 2 a days to go to a Def Leppard concert. The next day we show up wearing concert shirts with ROCK! ROCK! TILL YOU DROP! on the back. Needless to say coach was pretty p.o. All I can remember that day was coach yelling RUN! RUN! TILL YOU DROP!! followed by PUKE!PUKE! TILL YOU DROP! lol...Cuney will get his too and the others will learn from such a dumb mistake.

Was this your coach?

The charge is a Class B misdemeanor. Cuney was not taken into custody but was issued a citation and the charge is considered an actual arrest.
Is an arrest without booking, fingerprinting or (everyone's fav) a mugshot, actually an arrest?

In custody but not booked.

APD engaged in a game of semantics?

That's my point.

He's short and not particularly strong nor athletic. Certainly not P5 or Big12 caliber.

We informed our OL coach of our plans to attend Van Halen 5150 before the first district game.

He wasn't too excited, but said "If y'all screw up, your asses belong to me!". We played well. Fortunately, our morning teachers understood that we needed to catch up on our sleep.

Reminds me of when "Mox" took the boys to the strip club and had to face the wrath of Bud Kilmer. Of course, the best part was seeing one of their teachers on the stage. Greatness!

Several recruiting guys, during fall camp last year, were amazed Cuney was a take in recruiting (Burton and Howe). With how bad our offensive line was last year, the fact Cuney was significantly behind them is all you really need to know.

Who knows...maybe in 2 years Cuney develops into something special. My guess is he's a backup at best for his entire career. Mack Brown's evaluations toward the end of his tenure were a joke. This is why it's annoying to see people criticize guys like Watson and Wickline. Mack left guys like Cuney for the new staff, players that should be on Texas State or Sam Houston State's roster.

Exactly, that was the worse UT OL I've seen. Wickline had only six lineman to put in the game and he had no experienced lineman. Can't blame him for not sticking around for the Eyes of Texas. He inherited an awful  line and now he has to fight Okie State for his money. You combine that with an inexperienced Swoopes and I find it hard to blame the coaches.

The one criticism I would have for Watson is the Arkansas game which he didn't show much creativity. I have little doubt if we have another disappointing offense this year that we will have a new OC next year.

JB, I also saw the 5150 tour. It was great. Took my girlfriend now wife with me. Had a great time of course it was a bit cloudy in the Erwin center 😀
I saw 'em at The Summit in Houston.

I remember telling my OL coach that it was a "once in a lifetime opportunity". Good salesmanship

Yes my coach was exactly like the coach in the Dazed and Confused ..old school. I learned so much from my coach. One lesson I learned from him is never do anything halfass..once I jumped offsides and I tapped the guy in front of me on the helmet. Coach calls me over to the sideline and yells into my earhole."son if your gonna screw up.. do it at full speed and knock that guy on his rear end" life lesson...thanks coach Lamme!

let the facts come out before he`s kicked off team not everyone is guilty . Strong has stated many times that multiple mistakes get you dismissed. there are certain things that cause immediate dismissal but outside of meander and sanders legal trouble, and deoundre davis all the other ex players had multiple chances.

Yep.....

Horns Digest released a piece on Darius James tonight and it doesn't paint a pretty picture. I have mutual friends with Estelle, and I've heard some pretty crazy stories about him (related to drugs and theft).

People bitch about Watson and Wickline, but this is the crap they were left with.
