That uniform is so lacking in everything TEXAS, it would be imperative to write the word in big block letters on the front and back. For Pete's Sake,guys, that thing looks like an ice cream cone with sprinkles. Just make the helmet red and you will have a cherry on top.

Ugh!

It's a take off the Jets' uniform, which I like a lot and always have. As for lacking in anything TEXAS, all it has to say on the front is "Texas" and it's Texas because no one gets to wear that name except us.

I'm probably more traditionalist than you. But I've realized that there WILL be an alternative uniform that gets worn during a game or two in the future. You can adjust to that idea or drive yourself mad when it happens.

All that said, there's no way I would wear this version as it would mean sacrificing the wearing of the Storm Troopers unis, which are the best uniform in all of football. All of football.

Those are just shirts. Nike has an excuse to use the Texas version because they're basically replicas of our incredibly ugly practice jerseys.

I agree that the Whites are the best uniform in football. This uniform just isn't a Texas uniform. Colors are wrong and too gaudy.
