Texas A&M University

To determine how often crimes involving college athletes are prosecuted and what factors influence them, Outside the Lines requested police reports involving all football and men's basketball players on rosters at 10 schools from 2009 to 2014. The Texas A&M results:

"Sumlin will face some heat in ’15, especially if the Aggies finish in the bottom half of the SEC West. A&M has finished third, fourth and sixth in the division in three seasons. No school wants to pay its head coach $5 million per year to finish behind both Mississippi programs and fail to come close to unseating the recent historical triumvirate of Alabama, Auburn and LSU. But, for a number of reasons, Texas A&M has needed patience. Sumlin is more likely to enter ’16 with a red-hot seat than to find that the Aggies have punched the eject button after another 8-5 year."

That's pretty realistic. The defense would need to make a huge jump to have double digits wins this year. There is definitely some talent on this team, but if Sumlin only wins 7, I'm certainly understanding if the ones that pay his salary deem that someone else can do better. I'm hoping we can find a way to win 9 this year, despite the issues at corner and inexperience at OL.

Another 8-5 year probably is just fine with the majority of aggies. They are under the misguided perception that

they're getting all this "newfound respect" since they joined the SEC...when in reality they are the same old object

of derision there that they were when a member of the Big 12 and like they were in the old Southwest Conference.

All you need to do is glance at SECrant.com to know that aggie doesn't get any "newfound respect". If anything, they got more from UT and TX schools than they've gotten from SEC rednecks. Case in point - this little gem.

#WOTA "We Own The Aggies" or "We Own That Ass" - depending on which coonass, er, cajun you ask.

That perfectly sums up aggy for you. They would rather a SEC team, they play every year, pick up Monroe over Texas. Makes perfect sense.
Morons

I'd rather aggie win recruiting battles versus OU. But, then that's a logical thought progression and has no place with aggie.

What an idiot, studies have shown that alcohol problems went down 30% at West Virginia when they started selling alcohol at their games instead of fans drinking more before the game or sneaking it in.
That's remarkable when you consider 16oz bottles are gonna be priced at $9 each!

I'd still have my flask if I were a UT student
