There is no reason for any excitement about the season, recruiting is terrible, bad coaching, we are screwed this year. That's what I've been reading on Horn Sports.

I'm excited for the football season to start. I just want to sit back and enjoy routing for our team, as well as watching other great college games. Am I wrong to want to enjoy football rather than hanging off of a ledge in the offseason and getting my blood pressure up to stroke levels? Seems like there is a lot of things more important in the world, and in our lives, to get too worked up over summer football recruiting. I don't like losing, but I do expect success soon on all fronts for Texas football. To each their own.

I try not to even look at recruiting until January, but can't help myself at times. I enjoy watching the HUDL films and trying to project where a prospect may fit at UT. It's a fun hobby.

IMHO, this season will be another struggle for UT unless we get more consistently good play from the offense, especially the O-Line and QB. I'm gonna sound like a broken record, too, but I predict 8-5 with a bowl win.
