Harker Heights' Chris Hughes visited by UT today

[Aaron Carrara]

Harker Heights Class of 2016 Offensive Tackle (and brother of current Texas players Camrhon & Naashon Hughes) told me he received a visit from Texas today.

Chris will be attending a few camps this summer but doesn't know for sure which ones.  Texas Tech is currently the only Big 12 school to offer.

As we mentioned previously in Burnt Ends, the 6-4, 260 lb. Hughes plays defense also (DT, DE & the occasional LB) for the Knights.

Could Texas have a 3rd Hughes brother on the field?

Stay tuned....

Looks pretty athletic to me. Maybe they should take a look at him as a DE? He's pretty light for an OL.

He would prefer to play defense.
