The NFL has announced Green Bay will host Chicago in prime time this year. They'll be retiring Brett Favre's jersey that night.

Meanwhile in Austin, before an announced crowd of 85000 that looks more like 65000 two teams clinging to bowl eligibility will also be televised. To what surely will be he lowest ratings in television history.

It once meant something but the t/giving game has run its course . Time to kill it.

am i wrong? when we were playing a hated 100-year old rival it was one thing. once that ship sailed, we should have let the T/G game die a natural death. Play on Friday afternoon or Saturday instead.
If we play the game on Thursday, it will be Friday in Dubai and in China. Get with the new direction of the program. Screw the alumni.

GO Ronghorn!

interesting. so if we actually play a game on the other side of the international date line and lose, when we return home did it even happen?

College football, IMO, still rules. I'd happily miss ANY NFL game on the schedule if it gets put against a college football game, regardless of who is playing.

Jersey retiring ceremonies are boring. We see Farve in TV commercials every day.
