Some big numbers being thrown out it seems for Marshall (at least on bama's side). I like Marshall, but damn if you are going to throw that much money at him go after a bigger name.

I'll be surprised if it isn't Gregg Marshall. I think all signs point in that direction.

Not sure Marshall is worth that much. If Texas wanted Marshall I think they could get him. It will be interesting if Texas passed on Marshall.

Yep, once you add in incentives and bonuses Marshall will be making about the same amount as Izzo and Donovan. 

No thanks. If we are going to break the bank do it for Donovan, Stevens or another big name.

I would open the check book for Donavon as he has been very impressive with his recruiting at Florida in his tenure despite coaching at a football school, which will have to be the philosophy at UT.  Don't know what I think about Smart other than the fact that I've been certainly impressed by the March performance of VCU and probably should get an incomplete as regards to recruiting since the name,VCU, doesn't solicit excitement from top flight recruits.

It's hard to imagine Lucas would step into a position that was just vacated by Barnes. Those two weren't best bud's by any stretch, but that's too questionable for Lucas, IMO.
