No cheating, I want to see some answers. How many strikeouts do you think this trio had in college combined?

I knew Cat struck out a lot of batters, but damn when I saw the number I was surprised.

Thinking out loud, Zeke had over 500, not sure on Roger, but I'd bet he was prob around 225 or so in his two seasons at Texas, and Cat, that's the tough one. I bet Cat was 300, making my guess 1025.

Ya know, that kind of makes sense. In baseball pitchers throw once a week. In softball, it's possible that Cat threw 3, sometimes 4 games a week. Plus she had a longer career at UT than either Zeke or Roger.

Yep. I was thinking about a 1,000 for Cat so I was still pretty shocked by that number.

Relatively speaking, she was an infinitely better pitcher than either of them.

Also, Zeke is Swindell's son.  I've always known Swindell as Peewee (which he hated) or Greg.

He was a little older, my older cousin hung out with him more. I knew Peewee from Little League, way before he became a dick. His dad was our Pony team coach, I think it was the Phillies. Corky was an allstar... when he wasn't doing things MLBers shouldn't do. He could ball. I learned how to handle a grounder by watching him.
