I'm going to make this pretty short. What makes you think he hasn't outlined a plan to control the spending problem? What makes you think he hasn't done the other things you outlined and that they weren't implemented by Powers? It's possible that things are simply on hold until the new president takes office.

Beagles bay at the moon. I knew of one that would, night after night, climb over a fence with electric wire at the top. In the morning, the darned dog would wander home, climb back over that fence, yelping as she scaled the electric portion of the fence. There is a moral to that story.

Oh no, I'm no where near saying all is well.  I have yet to understand the timing of raising ticket prices.

All this being said, I'm perplexed about what Duke expected Patterson to do?  Expectations I'm pretty well convinced he didn't apply to Dodds.  Patterson DID send out questionnaires asking what the fans liked and didn't like about the stadium environment.  As a result the damned music will be tailored, as well as jet pack and Godzillatron.  I don't recall Dodds ever doing this.

I think what we are seeing is a contingent of people that didn't like the Patterson hire in the first place and were actually Luck supporters.  Luck losing any consideration because he ducked out of one of the AD's primary responsibilities before he was even hired.

I think, if asked, Duke will admit he didn't like the Patterson hire from the get go - right Randy?
