Amazing to me. This is a great community with a bunch of knowledgeable people. One can glean a lot of good information here, and I will be sorry to see it go.

Of course, a lot is speculation, based upon rumor.....and so on. But there is good info here, and a number of you have made real contributions.

NTG, No this one isn't about clicks. The question was brought up in a 24 hour chat so it wasn't anything publicized. Higdon made a couple comments on the question and stated he wouldn't say anything else. I know this is probably not what us fans want to hear, but it's an honest possibilities. OB has even alluded to the staff not particularly being impressed with Heard. 

If he was THAT good, CS would've ripped that red shirt. He didn't mind playing Bridgewater as a freshman. I'm glad we got Locksley because it does spark competition. We also have to take a wait and see approach with Heard. His high school accomplishments mean nothing now.

It was in that 24 hour chat Higdon did, but was fairly early in it. He said it in several posts, and was very emphatic. I have no clue whether he is right, but it was buried in that chat, so was not likely to involve anything but his genuine opinion.

I am quite willing to ignore it unless it proves true. This Spring is going to be the tell on Heard and Swoopes both. If they don't get their heads on straight, we will need a transfer or Kai to come through for us.

That is not a good position to be in.

This is the polar opposite of what you put in Burnt Ends.

But I will disagree with your premise Linux. Even if it was in a 24 hour chat it still could have been done just to create drama and clicks. But I will agree that anything is possible.

And I think CS wasn't going to take the red shirt off unless he just had to. He knew that Heard wasn't ready and I think he was bound and determined to get the QB "pipeline" flow of red-shirting freshmen QB's back in place.

Again, Mods, what do you have to say about this.
