No need to rush things. Strong is busy recruiting. Coach McGuire has a tough decision to make, and is trying to make certain arrangements so that he can take the Texas job and assure that his son will be in good hands. Family is important.

Once again, just because internet posters don't know the entire situation, does not mean Strong doesn't. Sigh...

I will say this -- if McGuire is holding off for NSD just to not give the appearance if undue influence on Lodge and his decision,

then it makes the SOC coach look like a pimp

I think CS has a surprise for everyone on NSD.  He appears so confident and he has handled this recruiting season expertly with the exception of one crucial mistake.  I think he could have gotten KM if he had offered stumblin the quarterback coach position.  Sure it would just be a lateral move for him but it would have gotten him out of that craphole.
