Jamile Johnson just decommiting probably means we can take baker. I wonder if strong pushed Johnson out?

Who knows, but I doubt it.
Johnson's coach just took a job on Tech's staff, so that's probably the reason for the defection. I'm not really worried about DB right now.
I am very surprised we lost him, he is very versatile, would have been a weapon on defense
The coaches at his all star game thought he was top 3 defender on either side

Does anybody have a link of Ketchum playing DB?
I know he's got the size and athleticism to play safety, but what about the experience and instincts?
I will concede Safety as one of the few positions we have at least a little debt
But not CB, good grief -- look at the the depth chart without Hill, Boyd and Davis. Big badaboom
Baker announces on NSD. His dad came on the OV and he likes Strong alot. But Deandre did not say much at all. And he has not tweeted anything in over a week. He basically just said he would go home, talk to his family and think it through.
However, if you take the time to scan through his twitter follows, he followed about 35-40 UT sisters. And dude is only 16. Playa
I dont know about the other guy. All I am sure about is this staff will keep working it hard until the end.
Johnson going to Tech rather than Texas is a bad decision, if he wants to play at the next level, but it is his decision to make. I'm pretty certain that Strong and the coaches have other prospects in mind for the spot. They seem to stay on top of the recruiting situation.
Best of luck to Jamile, until Tech plays Texas. Then, I hope our wideouts take the lunch of the Tech secondary and eat it on the field.

In terms of pure ATH, Ketchum is one of top ranked in country
247 has him in top 30 nationally (as ATH) but someone else, I forget who, has him in top 10
And, frankly, he seems like a guy who could use Strong's form of discipline.
Wrap himself in that discipline for the rest of his life, thus, maximizing his talent.
Who knows where that might lead him to eventually?

Teuhema would be a huge get. He decommed from us last February and I've heard nothing UT about him since, so I doubt he's in play.
