Uhhh... Ketchum can't throw. I know we're going to more of a spread / zone-read offense, but the QB is still going to need to be able to throw occasionally. That ain't Ketchum.

Yeah there really isn't much difference between Ketchum and Locksley IMO. Both phenomenal athletes, but raw at QB. Matter of fact, Ketchum and Locksley would probably be rated about the same if Ketchum didn't have off the field issues.

I knew Johnnie when we were both in Jester. In fact I used to kid him about his starting off as a RB as a freshmen, averaging 8 YPC and being forced to move to defense by some guy named Earl. I've kept in touch off and on over the years. I clearly remember him talking about his boys being the terrors of Pop Warner in Southern California back then. I never even had to ask him where they'd go to college at. They'd have signed an LOI with UT in 5th grade.

Remember that funky triple option KR we used to run?  He was part of that

Yeah, he's by far #1 on my list too. His combination of size, agility, speed, and strength is hard to find! Watch him line up at FB on offense for Gladewater. Unbelievably nimble for a BIG MAN. Fridge Jr.

Ketchum is interesting. Texas always had him high on the board until he had some off the field issues. 

I cant even remember what the issue was.

I am pretty sure he left Ft Bend Marshall bc another QB came in and the coach wanted to move him to RB

Instead, he went back to Lamar (where he played as freshman) and went undefeated in district as the QB his senior year.  I am unclear how he was able to move so much like that, but it happens.  The transfer had to be approved.

ps - IMO, he is not a good a passer as Locksley is now

lol yeah pretty much ohh speaking of moose i got a little funny story to tell you...the other day i was walking down to visit a friend of mine and this moose .it was a female moose..seen me and she was 5 feet from me..she ran from me...and i mean she ran from me

Oh...I got his back-story backwards. Ketchum played for Lamar last year?

Locksley definitely has better measurables and would be the "safer" get for UT. But, ya gotta like JW's athleticism.

He got in trouble at one of the schools. but I don't think anyone confirmed what it was. We stopped recruiting him right when he got in trouble though. I could be wrong, but I think he went to some type of alternative school for a little bit.
