2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Maybe he is a bit of a project.  I dont care.  He is very athletic and his dad is a coach.  He is a take.

Maybe the superior QB play of late has spoiled the FSU folks a little?  We already been through that ourselves, right?

We need Kai for the depth (imagine if Heard got injured in the summer?).  We need him for the competition.  And we need him because his talents fit well into the next evolution of our offensive scheme.
Locksley is a serious D-1 talent.  I watched him in the all star game and he was the real deal.  Hell, yeah, we'll take him - all day long.

Maybe he just wants his little moment in the sun like all these other guys

He did seem to rankle at the media earlier, which left open the possibility his commitment might not be over.

We will see.

Either way, for a variety of reasons, i decided I like this kid alot. and I will be pulling for him even if its in the SEC.

I agree.  He is a good kid with a ton of talent.  It's sad to have to deal with the things that he is at his young age.  He is a very likable young man.  I'd love to have him, but regardless, I wish him the best.

I think if we can get two RBs out of Jamabo, Warren, and Brossette we cannot complain one bit.

.....

On another note, from looking at their roster, it looks like they have  a ton of QBs: 1 Junior, 1 Sophomore, 2 Freshmen, and possibly 2 QB commits, plus Locksley who they had listed as a QB/Athlete
That depth chart never seemed to phase Locksley one bit.

He committed to them at a time other QBs were falling out of the sky and landing on them.  I remember thinking it was kind of crazy at the time (perhaps i was extra sensitive at the time given our own situation?)

In any event, if he comes to Austin, I dont think that will be the reason.  It will probably be because of Charlie.

I just found it kind of interesting, given our state of depth at QB.  Kind of like the long talks I've had with my brother of the craziness at Ohio State with high quality QB depth.

Definitely agree that the competition at QB is not a determining factor for Locksley.  Every recruit has commented on the relationship with the coaching staff, especially Coach Strong.  The believe in the 'vision' and 'building process' that's taking place.  I think that when those factors contribute to bringing in recruits, it spells future success on the 40 acres.

As much as i havent been a fan of following recruiting season..I'm gonna miss this one tlhe MOST...filled with drama, unexpectations, flips to other colleges,,,unusual craziness and twitter wars

This guy hasn't stepped on the field and I love him already.  It's been a long time since we've had so many guys who just seem to have a 'fire' and attitude about them.  These guys are coming in to work and become the best.

It looks like we could have some young leaders emerging next year.  It's gonna be fun to watch.

Noticed Texas not listed under Soso as a finalist. I know aggie didn't hack the system and omit us, never could pull that off! Must be an error.

Need to read the entire thread before posting long repetitive stuff already addressed! Live and learn....maybe.
