I think Davis is counted already... he already committed he just flirted with Auburn for a brief moment. Something is off here though because we are taking two running backs and those aren't in those numbers. I'm confused now.

Ugh... 3 of the 8 could be 3 new recruits. Ugh. I don't even know anymore. I know it has been said we are only taking 2 running backs but if you add Burt to that list and still only take 2 running backs that leaves you at 9. For real... I am so confused.

Here is my guess for what comes out tonight after the aggy visit to KM:
The chuckle heads down in college station will be talking about how it's in the bag and all questions/issues have been resolved between stumblin and the Murray Family. A celebration will commence and the s**t talking will run rampant. This will carry on with a couple of CB's being cast for Murray to aggy.
Then Charlie Strong rolls into town tomorrow and visits with Kyler and his family. They have another great visit. Coach Strong builds upon the foundation he's built with the Murrays and is able to present his message. It's not just about development on the field, it's about becoming a great person off the field is well. You'll get a quality education all the while being part of a class that brings Texas back to the top. Numerous sources have spoken of the relationship that the Murrays have with Coach Strong, so I really don't see this visit being anything but positive.
Trickles of information will come out that Coach Strongs visit went great and the aggy celebration turns into another melt down. At that point CB's probably start predicting Murray to Texas, which initiates the attacks of Looch and Hamm (among the rest of the chuckle heads).
So after two days, we are pretty much back to square one. There are very few outside of the coaches and Murray Family who have any clue as to how this is going to turn out. In a way, I think it's great that a kid is making such a huge decision without the distraction of the 100's of thousands of fans that obviously have a preference.
At the end of it, we wait until NSD to find out where he goes, and probably don't have a clue until it's official
With all that said, I really don't have a clue how this turns out. I have a hunch, but my hunch is based off factors that would be important to me, not Kyler's. It could turn out much different from this but after the back in forth that has happened over the last week or two, I kind of see this turning out as I've wrote it.

... in any event I think we can oversign if it's an A+ target ... 85 limit does not get counted by NCAA until August

You guys are over thinking. Charles O is including Burt. He said 1 of 8 and now he's saying is it going to be 3 of 8....as in 3 out of the 8 committed. The other 5 (I believe as they are the top uncommitted guys) are:

I heard that Sumlin is willing to let Kevin be involved with tutoring his son and will let him be involved with the program if Kyler comes to aggie. Supposedly this wasn't the case a few weeks ago. So that was one of the reasons Kyler came to Austin to let Sumlin know they were serious. So Sumlin is now ready to give in once he saw them call his bluff. Just something I heard.
