-Moments ago, Gilmer CB Kris Boyd tweeted that his younger brother - Class of 2016 LB Demarco Boyd - was officially offered by the Aggies. We'll see how this factors into Boyd's recruitment because it was clearly a sticking point of sorts down the stretch, IMO. Word I was hearing late this afternoon was that all signs were pointing to Kris actually announcing to Texas so we'll see if the Ags' early offer to Demarco changes things up in the eleventh hour

When the news first hit, they were all like "Sumlin is the Man," and "Smart move."

But then Demarco started retweeting a string of negative tweets from Texas fans and others about the offer  -- I posted two of them back a couple pages if you wanna see -- but there are many more if you wanna look

And then he kept retweeting even more

So, as the aggies started reading these, there mood changed

The same posters were lIke "What did Sunlin do?" - "What was he thinking"

Friday is huge.  Will be like a mini-NSD

We have the Boyd & Hill Show (possibly even the Boyd, Boyd & Hill Show)

And poor Charlie has to get back on the corporate jet for same-day in-homes with Locksley (Maryland) and Murray (Cedar Allergy)

Sumlin couldn't have played this any worse. I mean offer Demarco when he actually visited last weekend.

It just screams desperation when you offer literally hours before Kris commits and Demarco saying "I'm committing pretty soon". I'm pretty sure Demarco realizes it too. 

IMO Sumlin played the Kris, Demarco and Hill recruitment about as badly as you can play it. He slow rolled the hell out of all 3 of them.

A&M screwed up taking certain DBs too early. About a month ago Luicci was pretty much saying that A&M was trying to push DCS and Roney Elam out (I don't think A&M is high on these guys at all anymore). Those rumors have quickly disappeared because A&M has to take someone at corner. 

Alot of people dont like Elam
