SignUp Now!I think anything is possible."Meh" almost all these guys RT stuff when someone tweets something at them. Lampkin said 2 days ago he's 100 percent to Texas, so I won't worry about him until there's something more substantial.
I also don't think OU is going to offer Donelly, they have several DTs higher on their board that they will probably land. I'm pretty sure Lampkin's tweet about "playing together" was in reference to Texas since he posted a pic with himself in a Texas hat flashing a Hook'em. Texas is looking at other DTs so it would make sense that we might offer Donelly (there's obviously been some type of contact if you look at who Donelly follows on Twitter).
juan whats the latest with Burt? I know the coaches had an in home visit with Burt correct?? and from what i hear they are making a pursuit for Camrin Knight...lol well nevermind lol since im reading the above post lol

I could be dead wrong but I think both Hill and Boyd have already told people they are heading to Texas (see some of lil Boyd and Deshon Elliot's tweets). To me, the fact that Hill cannot decide between aggy or Baylor at the last minute shows he is not very serious about either.
What do you guys think?
He is also scheduled to visit Bama later, but Bama already has 7 committed 2015 DBs (including 2 five-star CBs). They also took 3 in 2014 (again, including 2 five-star CBs). In addition, Bama's depth chart shows the starters as a Jr (backed up by a soph and a Jr.) and a Soph (backed up by 5-star 2014 Tony Brown).
Conclusion, Bama is not a real threat for Hill.
Looking at the number of 5-star recruits for Alabama the past few seasons... makes my head swim. And at one position. Four 5-star CBs in two years.but Bama already has 7 committed 2015 DBs (including 2 five-star CBs). They also took 3 in 2014 (again, including 2 five-star CBs)
The funny thing is their secondary has been the biggest problem. Surely their secondary play has to improve before long.Looking at the number of 5-star recruits for Alabama the past few seasons... makes my head swim. And at one position. Four 5-star CBs in two years.
ohh brother not surprisedJesus Shuttlesworth is now calling for Lampkin to flip to ou
Thinks it will happen in the next week or so
Despite Lampkins insistence that he is solid to Texas - I just can't see him staying. It would be extremely unfortunate for him to flip this late in the game. Strong did a good job last year finding a couple of Florida DT's when he had this situation last season - but i don't see him being that lucky this time around.
A Lampkin de-commit could really hurt - even if I don't think he is anything close to a 'great' prospect.
..............
Worth noting -- our possible 2016 depth chart inside could be -- Poona, Nelson, Boyette, Norman (and Norman is not a lock to still be around then). We need DTs -- and thankfully the 2016 in state DT class looks solid from now

Geez, can't wait until Feb 4th...this is the craziest recruiting season. What part of "100% solid" do these guys not understand. Perhaps the whole "give 110%" has screwed up athlete math forever.Jesus Shuttlesworth is now calling for Lampkin to flip to ou

I guess now we wait to see if he is going to show for his OV
hmmm it could make sense where Norvell was at OU at that time...that could be the possibility...Rumor that Norvell warned us about the potential Lampkin flip
Dunno if true
http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=229061&page=191&p=7792617&viewfull=1#post7792617Update on DT Du'Vonta Lampkin from Inside Texas...we all know he's been rumored as a soft commitment for months now, but apparently the hiring of Jay Norvell gave UT more insight on what's been going on behind the scenes. Story goes that when Lampkin received a UCLA offer at the end of last year, Strong told him he would not consider him a part of this class if he took a visit. That rubbed Lampkin the wrong way and he's been planning a National Signing Day flip to Oklahoma ever since. All of the OU staff knew about it (including Norvell) and OrangeBloods received a detailed email on the situation last week. He's still scheduled to be in Austin this weekend, however.
