2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Brossette is retweeting alot of pro-Texas stuff now

(if nothing else, it was fun checking out Ricky's HS film)

This might get you excited --

Nick Brosette's twitter no longer shows that he is an LSU commit.

LSU has been there this whole time since he committed back in August 2013

https://twitter.com/NBrossette

The last 5 CB predictions for him have been Texas

Has he announced a commitment date, or is he avoiding the Hollywoodesque recruiting circus that is driving me insane? Hopefully he commits to the good guys soon!

His still has his OV to LSU this coming weekend

But the last 3 CBs have gone to Texas, including Jeff Howe and Barton SImmons

Hill has already OVd with Texas, FSU and LSU.  He has Baylor this coming weekend.

He is getting an in-home today from aggy -- Sumlin, Terry Joseph and Clarence McKinney.  He has no OV set with aggy but, if he wants, he still has time to OV there.

His buddy Kris Boyd's top 4 are Texas, aggy, Baylor and Bama.  So, the overlap of top schools on both their lists is two (possibly three by the end of the day).

All the reports on his and Boyd's visit say it went very well.

The CB sits at 71% Texas.

The last 5 entries on the CB have all been Texas, including the last one by a Baylor guy.

I said this a few pages back - but while Brossette does not have the athletic upside of Soso, or the size and powerful running of Warren he might be the best 'runningback' of the three.  He's not going to break off a run for 80 yards, but Brossette has the vision and balance to find the right hole, get through it, and he's strong enough to break through arm tackles when they happen.  Really hope he flips.
Agree, Nick reminds me of Emmitt Smith. Brossette is now Louisiana's high school all time leading running back at over 8,000 yards. Emmitt was Florida's all time leading rusher when he went to college at Florida with over 8,000 yards. They are about the same height and weight, but Nick is listed as running a 4.6 although he was timed at 4.77 while Emmitt was timed at 4.8 when he went to the pros.

I still want Chris Warren just as much if not more than Brossette. Warren is listed at 6'2" 225-230 and is listed as running a 4.4. That's about the same height and weight as running backs like Herschel Walker, and Eddie George. Watching Earl and Ricky was a lot of fun, so I'm always excited to get a big fast back who also has high character just like Nick.  I have no idea if Chris can be as great as those RBs, but I'd rather not watch Washington Huskies games to find out.

I read a Cleveland article about how Jim Harbaugh was in Houston at Stratford High School on Friday. Harbaugh recruited 12 players from Texas during his four years at Stanford including Andrew Luck. Looks like Michigan will be working Texas, unfortunately Harbaugh is good at it.

LSU offered Brossette after he had a good 9th grade season

His school's field is only ~75 yards from LSU's indoor practice facility

But LSU also has RB Leonard Fournette the #1 overall recruit in the country last year

He will be at Cy Fair tomorrow

Eric Nahlin retweeted this pic on Twitter

Someone asked him if that's what he was talking about earlier when he said things had gotten dirty in south Florida

He favorited the tweet but didn't reply.

Interesting snap chat apparently sent out by Irvin. Granted, his uncle is loaded.

Correct and LSU has Rivals #4 running back Derrius Guice in this class. Guice is listed #15 on the national list.

Re:  Irvin's Snapchat

Few needed money more than Earl Campbell's family when he was being recruited, and yet he told those recruiting him that he was a proud black man who could not be bought.  I don't doubt that it was said with the same quiet dignity with which he always carries himself.  He is a truly amazing man and representative of The University.

Though I don't know what that money Tim is flashing represents, it is highly suggestive and inflammatory.

Hook 'em!

I don't think it is too inflammatory. They openly talk of their bagmen on their rant and individual boards. But I'm sure the NCAA won't be able to find anything. Especially if they have an SMU available to go after.

Maybe Oliver can do a better job than his predecessor.  Isn't he in charge of enforcement?

Even the smartest crooks make mistakes, and I don't think Auburn produces the smartest crooks in the country.  Auburn would make a good target.  They aren't 'Bama.
