2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Well that was short lived. Doesn't appear we have a shortage of scholarships anymore - especially if the Ronnie Major rumors are true.

This might be a good time to post one of those warnings about it not being a good look for us to be nasty on twitter

Probably always true, but especially so when dealing with a teenager

If we flip Brossette, how would we look at the batshit crazy stuff that will be spewing forth from LSU fan?

I am not much on preaching so this is my one and only try a this

More room for RBs, and another DT I hope.

Too bad about Major, some analysts said he was "the guy" among all our OLs

Higs has maintained we have a great shot with Soso so long as he shows up.  Rivals has him as the #1 player in the state, and the 247 Composite shows him as the #1 RB nationally.  We should know in only another week or so......

However it all ends up, we are looking at a great class.  We should be in the top 10 nationally of all ranking, if nothing else due to volume.  Think back to November (not that long ago) and we were looking pretty desperate.  Then things changed quickly.  And we are now poised to finish with a strong close.  We will be finessin.

Guys, Tim may or may not have had a choice once he took the trip. All we have to go on is rumor. Coaches are working hard and we cannot expect great kids to wait while another kid negotiates with another school. Not fair to the majority.

I trust it is best for Texas in the long run, and I wish Tim the best.

Hook 'em!

Ladies and gents, these next 3 weeks are going to be a roller coaster ride. There will be a lot of ups and downs but I have a good feeling that we will look back on this class and be happy.

No need to bad mouth an 18 year old and his lineage just because he flips or decides not to attend your school. Its their decision and their life. Just say," F*** him." and move on...LOL....LMAO....Seriously..... would you want people ragging about your kid and the college he or she decided to go to ? Mine went to Texas...they had no choice as I said,"My money and you are going to Texas."

hmm lets see we lost irvin, brown, and burt dont know yet about ronnie major if its true whats going on with him and i agree with dalton there...we still will come out with a good class..if we can pull out some good ones like boyd..hill,,and hopefully flip brossette, and fields..welll im not for sure about fields and hopefully we can get in a pretty good shot with landing soso and newsome..it will be a pretty good class regardless..then again ..this recruiting class hasnt turned out as bad as i thought..anybody agree on that part?

I think Irvin was committing to TRob more than Auburn.  If he had stayed at Florida, there's a great chance Irvin ended up there.

Will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Would not be surprising to see Muschamp leave after one season for a HC position.  He almost took one at UH before going with Auburn.  And, with one good season as DC. more offers will roll in.  There are always openings somewhere.

And wherever he goes, he will take TRob with him.

So, it is not inconceivable that come 2016, Tim will be getting his first PT as a RS freshman with neither TRob nor Muschamp around anymore.

Hopefully our recruiters covered this possibility with him.  If not, shame on us.

Juan, I agree with you 100% and considered this myself. Tim, though, is seeing the world through the eyes of a 18/19 year old, and he probably hasn't even considered that his 'friend' T-Rob likely won't be there in a year or two.

All indications are that he would have been playing for Strong & Bedford for his entire career; however, it doesn't sound like there will be time for buyer's remorse. He is already behind in classes and should start attending tomorrow. I predict a difficult Spring for Tim.

It's too bad. I think he has a really good heart.

well thats true im wondering about davis
I am not sure Auburn is after him or not.

Only sure ones are Miami, Florida and FSU

Miami is a mess, but he OV'd there this weekend.

Florida, however, now has Randy Shannon (ex Miami coach) recruiting for them.  Davis OVs there next weekend.

His recruiter at FSU was Tim Brewster.

ohhhh i see yeah you right about Miami right now...mann oh mann i dont know what to think of that...

I have a manly mancrush on this guy

He visits Austin next weekend.

Fields said he's down to Clemson and Texas (LSU is out)

He said he liked "all of" his Clemson official visit.  "Clemson freshman defensive backs Van Smith and Kaleb Chalmers, who played on the same 7-on-7 team as Fields, served as his player-hosts."

"I'll find out how Texas is this weekend when I go there," Fields said.
