SignUp Now!I could be dead wrong about Davis, but I think he's all Longhorn. Who knows with Irvin.I hope that is from someone who spoke to him after he chatted with Auburn and Miami and Florida.
Here he was just 2 days agoI could be dead wrong about Davis, but I think he's all Longhorn. Who knows with Irvin. .....
Well said. This is too late in the process to play games.Im ready to move on from Tim Irvin. He has excellent return skills to be sure but the days of a 5'8 DB being a major contributor to a D1 playoff hopeful team are over. Receivers are 6'3 + and we have to find the guys who can cover them. For all of QD's toughness, desire, moxie whatever you want to call it , he still got used by the taller receivers. Irvin is a great athlete and could be a help in certain areas but Im certainly not wetting the bed over whether he commits (again) or not. And I'm certainly not worrying about someone who committed in front of God and country on national television barely a week ago and is playing this game. I guess I could never be a head coach at this level because I would have no time or use for these games.
Obviously good with his feet and has some arm strength. I love that he keeps his eyes down field with pressure in his face. Occasionally bring ball too low on deep throws but most balls come out nice with a good tight spiral. Moxie is off the charts and thats what we need in our program more than anything; winning attitude, confidence. Thats what i see in Cherry, Brossette, Irvin and a few others, talent and confidence.Exciting video at least
Someone this elusive would be a huge help to our OL
decent prospect, needs a RS year IMO. I also think he is about 6-2, not 6-0.There is an aggy rumor that we are kicking the tires on 4-star aggy commit Roney Elam (6', 187)

As a boundry CB, yes 5-8 CBs are extinct but not as Nickel CBs. He might be small be he is a great athlete with Football instincts and attitude.Im ready to move on from Tim Irvin. We're going to need you to narrow his height down just a little bit more. Is he closer to 5'11" or 6'No. Have seen him play against AA competition. Not impressed. What we're after is light years ahead, IMO.
IMO, he's between 5'11 and 6'.
I am sold. What is his eligibility situation? When could he enroll?Obviously good with his feet and has some arm strength. I love that he keeps his eyes down field with pressure in his face.
