2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

after seeing a clip of vernon adams mann oh mann i would give anything to have that guy ..my goodness

I hope that is from someone who spoke to him after he chatted with Auburn and Miami and Florida.
I could be dead wrong about Davis, but I think he's all Longhorn. Who knows with Irvin.

I'm not buying the narrative that "Davis is going to follow Irvin", when A) He committed to Texas before Irvin and B ) They've really never been interested in the same schools. That's just nonsense coming from IT IMO.

So, is Tim Irvin "not coming" to UT from the same source that claimed Malik Jefferson wasn't going to UT as well?  Please tell me the reports to Auburn aren't coming from that stupid crystal ball BS where grown men try to predict what a high school kid is thinking!

Used to say Texas

From the optimist perspective, they dont call it the University of Auburn

And, on this one, the 'company' was Miami (according to Higs) - who is not really the main competition (UM is a dumpster fire right now)

We are supposed to be doing in-home today with DB Mark Fields of Charlotte

247's No. 6 CB

LB Anthony Wheeler confirmed his OV for Jan 23

No word on his teammate WR Carlos Strickland (but we know he has OV plans elsewhere on that date)

I was hoping they would visit together

Im ready to move on from Tim Irvin. He has excellent return skills to be sure but the days of a 5'8 DB being a major contributor to a D1 playoff hopeful team are over. Receivers are 6'3 + and we have to find the guys who can cover them. For all of QD's toughness, desire, moxie whatever you want to call it , he still got used by the taller receivers. Irvin is a great athlete and could be a help in certain areas but Im certainly not wetting the bed over whether he commits (again) or not. And I'm certainly not worrying about someone who committed in front of God and country on national television barely a week ago and is playing this game. I guess I could never be a head coach at this level because I would have no time or use for these games.

Well said. This is too late in the process to play games.

Exciting video at least

Someone this elusive would be a huge help to our OL

Obviously good with his feet and has some arm strength. I love that he keeps his eyes down field with pressure in his face. Occasionally bring ball too low on deep throws but most balls come out nice with a good tight spiral. Moxie is off the charts and thats what we need in our program more than anything; winning attitude, confidence. Thats what i see in Cherry, Brossette, Irvin and a few others, talent and confidence.

As a boundry CB, yes 5-8 CBs are extinct but not as Nickel CBs. He might be small be he is a great athlete with Football instincts and attitude.

Diggs got abused when he was on the outside and if we had any CB talent at all he would not have been on outside. I know its frustrating guys but look at the big picture. Would be great to get Irvin but if he feels Auburn is better, go. Hill, Boyd, Fields, Lewis, Baker are all great CB.

I am sold. What is his eligibility situation? When could he enroll?
