2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

speaking of QBs we just had a crystal ball go our way for Locksley...This is gonna get interesting as it unfolds..I dont wanna read too much into it just yet but I got a gut feeling on this one
shotime, your gut is going to explode before the Locksley decision is made. Don't blow an O-ring my friend! Bring it to Austin Locksley!

Hey Juan, how far above the ags have we climbed in the recruiting rankings! Sweet.

From a Maryland mod, which is telling IMO.

Looking at the timeline for a QB transfer to come to Austin, are we able to recruit/contact transfers during the dead period for recruiting?

lol Juan Grande yo what is up lol with the video you just posted lol you need jesus for that lol and Mike? you aint gotta worry lol about my gut gonna explode lol lol i'm cool as a cucumber lol lord knows i aint psychic lol

I'm not a member of any premium sites; therefore, I have no idea what is premium information or not.  I copied and pasted what was on a free and open site for Longhorn sports.
I was using you to slip it through via technicality

Sorry mate

OK, if its down to Braxton Miller v. Connor Brwer, then it has to be Miller.

Brewer, while "amusing" doesnt qualify as a player who "would be a very compelling player that was heavily recruited."

Brewers offer list was pretty impressive.

Nebraska, Arizona State and Arizona?  OK, I concede

But am not conceding he would be "very compelling."
Those weren't the only schools that offered Brewer. On Signing Day 2012, Brewer's Mom admitted that USC, UCLA, & other Pac-12 schools offered & tried to make a run at him late, but he stick with his commitment.

This is Uncle Luke of 2 Live Crew who is quite connected to the Miami football scene

They are on board Team Strong as of the last few days

For the record, if I ever post anything that appears to be premium, it isn't.  I haven't had access to any premium sites, except this one - before it went free.

Reading the tea leaves, I would think we can thank Duke.

Hook 'em!

I conceded that already, he had a better offer list than I originally remembered.  Sorry that my recall was so bad.

That said, Brewer could not make his way up the depth chart at either Texas or Arizona

So, no matter may have been going between he and Swoopes/Major/Mack, the results were the same at both schools.

Brewer has some skills but i think the lack of a strong arm would limit his effectiveness to a certain type of offense.

In addition, he has not seen much live action.  The only memory I have of him playing when the bullets were flying was in one of the all-star games, and he was completely overwhelmed at that time.  Small sample size I concede and perhaps unfair, but what else do we have?

Lastly, if he can come in and beat Heard out after Heard had an entire season of tutelage under Watson, then its a poor reflection on Watson.  Because Heard does have skills.

Currently 27 commits, including Johnson.

6 EEs

Remaining targets.

1. Boyd

2. Hill

3. Warren

4. Strickland

5. Mack

6. Locksley

7. Richmond

If Burt sticks with Texas, then Strong would have over signed by 3, assuming all 7 of these sign with Texas.

If not over signing, then who do you tell no on that list.

It's not Brewer. We have a member on this board who is associated with the Brewer family (not me). Last night he made some calls. He was laughed at when he asked.

Irvin is an EE.  Don't forget that.

Hook 'em!
True, that would be 7.

Here is a link that talks about the Aggies over signing in 2013.  They took 34.

http://www.sbnation.com/college-football-recruiting/2013/1/22/3883100/texas-a-m-aggies-football-recruiting-how-can-a-m-take-34-recruits-in-2013

I cut this from the article.

So, how can they make the numbers work? It's pretty simple, really -- any school can take 25 "initial counters" in a calendar year, with initial counters being the oddly impersonal phrase used by the NCAA to describe football players who will be on scholarship. However, schools can go up to 28 as long as they stay under the overall 85-man limit.
