2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Correct me if I'm wrong. This "mystery QB" is a 4 star, top 25 program and recruited by Watson?

That fits JT Barrett to the T. Would he be eligible to play next year at Texas is this question. I think people are assuming Miller is automatically going to transfer, when I think there's a real possibility he could get the starting gig next year again at Ohio State.
Barrett would have to file a family hardship waiver.  If so, he would have to argue that it is in his best interest to transfer because he has to take care of or attend to an ill family memebr.

Watson recruited Wittek (from Nebraska)

That would be amusing
I threw the Witek name out earlier as a joke to poke fun at how the big name transfer QB thing didn't work out last year. I figure his eligibility is expired at this time.

On Irvin:

Coach says: This kid is a KILLER. This kid is trying to take your soul with every hit he hands out, and he is absolutely fearless when coming up to stop the run and filling running lanes.
Man, this excites me!

On Clarington, damn he is huge!

Mods, what's up with a quota on "positive votes"?

An error occurredYou have reached your quota of positive votes for the day

Miller might qualify as "entertaining" - I guess

Given the Swoopes/ JT Barrett/Mack Brown thing

Sounds like Gilbert Johnson may be committing tomorrow

Will keep our consecutive days with a commitment streak alive

With four of the "Florida Five" now in place (Cherry, Davis, Clarington, Irvin), all that's left is the 5th member. For those that are unaware, Gilbert Johnson is that final guy. Johnson has told Orangebloods that he plans to announce his commitment on Twitter, tomorrow (Jan. 4) around 3pm.

Johnson is a wide receiver out of Homestead (FL), but went to prep school in Georgia this past year. He was once a UGA commit.

Hawaii is not anything near a top 25 program

OK, if its down to Braxton Miller v. Connor Brwer, then it has to be Miller.

Brewer, while "amusing" doesnt qualify as a player who "would be a very compelling player that was heavily recruited."

- I've got a strange feeling that Newsome has been told his ship has sailed.

- I think Burt decommits this coming week.

Some LB Anthony Wheeler & mom quotes from 247

“I sat down with my family and talked about how comfortable I felt with the coaches and how comfortable I felt with the school.  I felt like that's where I needed to be.â€

“I'm very excited,†Wheeler's mom said.  "I actually thought he was going to go with OU, but he changed his mind at the last minute and told me he was going with Texas. He told me about a week and a half ago. He liked what Charlie Strong was doing there and what's trying to do by rebuilding a strong team. He likes his leadership, he likes his position coach and he likes all of the recruits that are coming in with him.â€

“He's a real cool dude,†Wheeler said of Jean-Mary. “I've just gotten more comfortable with him. He's laid back and you can talk to him about anything. He's a good coach.â€

“Nothing this week changed my mind.  I kept a clear mind coming into this week because I was already set with my decision.â€

“It was an amazing environment.  I stood up the whole time and imagined myself playing in the game. It was amazing.â€

Was Scroggins the third team QB, behind Brewer, at Arizona? The intrigue grows with this mystery transfer savior!

Barrett? And good in regards to newsome, hopefully it sends a message to the other recruits.
