Higdon over at Scout has been calling for something big to happen for awhile. I consider Higdon to be one of the best in the business when it comes to recruiting. Very interesting, this is what he had to say. 

"A couple of things at play...One of the things was Mack bouncing from the Aggies.....Again, that is not the big thing I am talking about...its also not Boyd announcing on Xmas....I will say this though, the thing I am talking about I "thought" was for sure going to happen before Malik announced which would have given all of you little doubt where Malik was headed...but, funny thing in recruiting it did not happen before MJ announced like I originally thought. When it does you will know exactly what I was talking about....it's not 100% to happen before Xmas but it will happen...I believe it will happen this week though......"

Nobody has a clue what Higdon is talking about. It's apparently something that's going to be big and not really expected. Hidgon seems confident that something big is going to go down in our favor though.

If you've followed Hidgon you know to listen to what he has to say. 1) When he talks he normally knows what he's talking about and 2) He IMO has the best connections to Strong, going back to the Louisville days.

That's what I'm thinking or someone like Lodge. 

One thing is for certain though, Hidgon is confident and doesn't want the info leaked yet. Almost like stuff is going on behind closed doors and he doesn't want to screw this up. It would make sense that he doesn't want anything Murray related to be leaked yet, because you know there would be a shit storm.

Mack's top 2 schools are TCU and LSU (not surprising as those are the 2 schools he's visited). 

Just get him on campus and we have a shot with Malik.

The Mack recruitment is playing out like I thought it would. I knew we weren't going to be in his top 2, he hasn't visited Austin yet. TCU and LSU were the obvious choices. In the end the most important piece in the Mack recruitment is Malik. LSU and TCU don't have Malik.
