You don't beat teams like Oregon with defense. You beat them with offense...Its your best defense because it keeps their O off the field and playing catch up.Wow, game over right there. Zona with the turnover!
Hope Texas was watching this defense handle Oregon's O.

Surely the Defense gets credit. it just takes a good offense to bale them out against a great offense like Oregon, Baylor, etc. !'Zona recovered 2 turnovers and enjoyed a small TOP advantage . . .
The last turnover was critical as Oregon was driving for the lead late in the game. . . .
The game was 7-3 at half .. .
O had 11 drives, 4 punts were forced, they fumbled twice, had one turnover on downs then scored 3 TDs and a FG.
I'd say the D gets some credit. . . .
Tell Stanford that you don't beat Oregon with defense. They've beaten Oregon for the last two years. In 2012 17-14 in OT and 26-20 last year. Although I do agree with you that to beat good teams you need an effective offense to take the pressure off even if you have a great defense. No, hope our offense and our coordinator and head coach watched how 'Zona's offense kept the Ducks' off the field and PUT POINTS ON THE BOARD !!!!!
